Robes of the Tersthic Order - [Magic Item Monday]

Following no single tradition, the Tersthic monks combined several of them along with the mystical arts, creating a wholly unique order. Also known as Magemonks, members of this order practice training their bodies and minds differently than other monks. The Tersthic monk's Ki is the unseen arcane energy that flows throughout the multiverse. This power allows these monks to channel their arcane Ki not only through their body but channel it in the form of spellcasting.

The various robes of the Tersthic order reflect where a monk stands in their training and therefore the order's hierarchy. Monks work together to ascend within the order. Those within the same level work with one another, helping each other and training together, while those in a higher echelon teach and mentor those below them. While the order maintains a formal structure, it does not preclude those above keeping the monks beneath them from moving up.

Each of the robes is imbued with a manifestation of Ki, granting the wearer special abilities. When a monk rises through the ranks a new set of robes is given to them. The old robes dissolve and the magical powers are transfered, adding to the new garment's mystical powers.
