A Dump Stat original one-shot adventure
Added 2020-06-20 00:49:05 +0000 UTC
So it's Chris's turn to run an adventure. I will be running a one shot on Sunday, June 28th so I need some of you to play! This will be a first-come, first-serve though our $3 and $5 patrons get first dibs. After that, I'll be opening it up to our $1 patrons (22nd) and a few days later opening it up to anyone on our Discord (25th). I have room for 5 players in the one-shot.
Time:
June 28th, 2020 [20200628]
12pm EDT to about 4pm / 5pm EDT [4pm UTC to about 8pm / 9pm UTC]
The adventure:
We are going to play a Dump Stat original, Druid in the Sewers. It was the first adventure we ever created.
For character generation:
- Standard Stat Array or Point Buy
- Character level 5th-7th.
- Characters are restricted to Player's Handbook, Xanathar's Guide to Everything, Volo's Guide to Monsters
- Magic items can be selected from the Dungeon Master's Guide or Xanathar's Guide to Everything. You can select up to 3 items between common to rare. Only one of the items may be rare.
- Multiclassing and Feats are allowed
- Game is a classic dungeon crawl
Before the game:
- Send me your character sheet
- Set up an account on Roll20
- Select a character token/portrait and send it to me so I can set it up on Roll20
Helpful tips:
- Due to time constraints, I'll be pacing combat quickly, please read through your character abilities and have a rough understanding of how it all works.
- If you are using DnDBeyond, I recommend the Beyond20 extension for Chrome and Firefox as it can allow for very fast rolling on the virtual tabletop.
- Ensure you have a working microphone (phone or computer mic is fine) and working speakers/headphones.
Background:
Mushrooms started to appear a month ago, popping up sporadically at the outskirts of torn. Now, the mushrooms can be found everywhere you look, growing through the cracks in the streets, on the sides of buildings, and throughout all public spaces.
While the city folk are all for nature, these mushrooms look anything but natural. Attempts to remove them have been in vain, and reports have been circulating around the city of them exploding into a fine mist when picked. The locals are at a loss, as all attempts to remove the mushrooms have only caused more to appear in their place.
Are these mushrooms some natural occurrence, or is there something more sinister going on? Maybe the party will find out. But for now, do not eat those mushrooms!
If you wish to take part, just leave me a message here and I'll reach out to you.
