Skin Corsairs [Monster Thursday]

Skin Corsairs are the sailors and pirates that sail out into the ocean and for whatever reason, are changed by it completely. Their mind is broken, they now crave the drink of blood and are horrifying beyond imagination.
They are mindless humanoids who have been completely taken over by violence, and pulling back the curtain a bit for their lore, are 100% filled with adrenaline at all times. It makes it difficult to sleep when you are in a fight/flight response and who can blame these poor souls that are a bit cranky and murderhobo-y?
Skin Corsairs are violent raiders and the perfect addition to a game that needs some horrible hazards out on the sea and you don't want to introduce more sahuagin or sharks. Skin Corsairs might make your players question what could happen to a creature to make them lose their minds due to a horizon of ocean? Maybe there is something out there that has changed them. Someone purposefully has created these raiders... or maybe they stumbled across an island that they shouldn't have.
Regardless of the reason, they should be horrifying for anyone to fight off, and when the heroes win, they should be horrified from the battle.
