*Need an extra day for the illustration i was working on, changed some things and that made it take longer than expected!
Calling it a tutorial might be a stretch. I learned this method very recently, but i wanted to try it. And so far is the best value to color method i tried. When i did this was really happy with the workflow, so i wanted to share it with you in case someone is interested in learning.
Needless to say the illustration itself is no reward for a nsfw patreon, but maybe someone can appreciate the tutorial and the look behind the scenes.
Important taking into account, this was my own learning study, i'm just sharing what i learned with you. You will notice i didn't go into a lot of detail. That's because i just wanted to test the method, the rest would be regular rendering which i'm already used to.
The attached ZipFile contains:
-Illustration of the fictional creature.
-Paintstorm and photoshop original files.
-A Speedpaint of all the process.
-4 Step images + gif of all 4 of them.
-2 Brushes, the ones i used here. *Only for paintstorm studio
-A readme txt file, where i explain more about the brushes, the software and a step by step guide of how to follow this method.
If you have interest in learning more about this method or just art in general i'd love to know, i'd put more effort into tutorials if that's the case.
