Sept 10 - Up Against It
Added 2025-09-11 14:00:18 +0000 UTCThis week's session was a bit of a scramble. I wrote a pretty interesting chord progression with a decent melody, but struggled to find a solid direction. I ended up with a downtempo, vibey idea and a more traditional AN-style chord pluck house version. I think that there's something good in here, but it's hard to tell exactly which direction I should go.
What do you think? - Which version do you like better? Or do you think this idea should be taken in a different direction. And do you want me to return to this idea? Downloads of both versions are attached and the WIP Archive has been updated!

Not sure either version really grabs me, though I think the melody works better with the downtempo than the house. Could just be that the house version is still missing layers and effects, though.
