After trying to write something new, I pulled whimsical piano recording that I wrote a couple years ago and tried developing that. It gives me a peaceful, waterside feeling with an uplifting vibe. This idea came together okay and it reminds a bit of Regrowth and Riverbanks. It just feels like something is missing and I don't think I'll return to it (at least not anytime soon).
What do you think? - Do you like the whimsical piano in this? And do you think I should finish this one or move on from it? Download is attached and the WIP Archive has been updated!

The flute part is very interessing! Maybe dig in that direction?

2025-03-28 17:10:02 +0000 UTCI agree, it just doesn't feel like a song idea in there. The opening particularly felt off to me, a bit too video game-y, maybe? I like the original piano melody, but that's probably better served elsewhere.
