Feb 21 - Always Sunset

This week I wanted to write something at a different bpm but with some similar vibes. I started off writing a chord progression and came up with a drum groove I really liked, but wasn't connecting with the chord progression enough. So I wrote a different chord progression and arranged this version with a vocal tagline - always sunset.

I like this one - parts of it are pretty cool and I can definitely see myself repurposing the drum groove. But I don't think it's strong enough to finish.

What do you think? Do you like the dancey 4-on-the-floor vibes but at a lower tempo? Do you like the plucky pad rhythm and drum groove? And do you think that I should finish this one or write more in this style? - Let me know in the comments!

Hi there =) It seems like a mixture between bright vibes and deeper vibes, that kind of compete with each other. The voice may be more aligned with the deeper vibes if it had a reverb and maybe some continuation like breaking down into the song. Does that make sense? Anyways it's cool to hear the process of something before it is finished/released.

I really like that deep, booming bass at 0:28. In general, I think the track is fine, though it doesn't particularly grab me. If you said you were releasing it, I'd say, "Yup, I get it," and if you said it's not worth releasing, I'd say, "Yup, I get it."
