Added 2023-07-06 16:25:08 +0000 UTCThis month, I'm moving on to the 2nd poll option - a genre I've never tried before. I started out with a piano chord progression and a ~90bpm vibe. I kept the melody simple, went with a 4-on-the-floor kick, and added a slap-house style bass. Adding in some modular vibes and extra layers I ended up with what you hear above.
It's pretty cool! I like this idea and I think it could be a good supporting song on an EP/Album that has a similar vibe tonally. I may return for a session at some point but it's not high on the list unless it made sense for an EP/Album.
