Sept 21 - Effervescence
Added 2022-09-22 14:30:59 +0000 UTCThis week, I set out with the intention of writing something a bit sadder and more "emotional" (whatever that means, haha). It's not exactly what I had in mind, but I think it turned out pretty good and it's got more of a complex of an emotion than the last couple ideas.
I really like the organic layers in this one - I usually use strings of some sort in a lot of my songs, but it's been some time since I've used a cello as the lead instrument. I think it works well and balances out the chord progression with some melancholy vibes.
I will most likely return to this at some point, but I don't think it's at the top of my list. But what do you think? - Is this something you'd like to see me finish?
