Sept 7 - Driftwood
Added 2022-09-08 15:32:44 +0000 UTCThis month I'm writing some Melodic / Emotional / Sad / Reflective song ideas. For this week's session I wanted to start off with piano and just let the music dictate the type of song. The result is the version you hear above!
I like this idea, but it's very simple. It needs more layers, better drums, FX, automation, and some extra transition elements... but I'm not sure it will ever be more complex than it already sounds. Though, maybe it doesn't need that. It is relaxing & reflective and I don't think it would take me too long to finish, so maybe it's something I return to at some point.
What do you think - is this something you want to see me finish? And is this type of something something you want to see more of?

🤔 might be interesting to hear it as a duet trade off with a sting instrument like a cello or base
