This week... I forgot to post the December genre poll (sorry about that - I'll be posting it soon for the rest of the December streams). So for yesterday, I decided to write some chords and see where it takes me with chat's guidance. I also wanted to focus on using a few new pieces of software that I picked up over the last week. After a few hours, I ended up with what you hear above!
I like it, but it's basic and sounds repetitive. It's also only 2 chords so I think in one of the sections there could be some more variation. That being said, I could see myself returning to this one - it reminds of me "After the Rain" from Horizons.
But what do you think? - is this something I should finish?

This is so pleasant! I definitely get After the Rain vibes. I don't mind the two-chord nature of it, though I think it would definitely be enhanced by having some kind of variation about halfway through the track. I would love to hear what it would sound like if the melody either went up an octave at some point or played a harmony to the melody so as to add variation. This sort of downtempo is a genre I think you excel at, so I would love to hear it finished!
