Oct 27 - My Goodbye (Week 2)
Added 2021-10-28 16:07:00 +0000 UTCThis week, I continued the idea I wrote last week. The main focus (like the 1st song this month) was to write a drop and finish the arrangement. I went more of a chillstep direction with this one and I think it worked pretty well. Currently, the drop percussion doesn't exactly match (mainly the kick/snare) and the build FX need to be dialed back a fair amount to match the overall energy of the song. I think there's also some room to condense the arrangement for better pacing.
I'm pretty happy with this idea though and I'm definitely planning on revisiting both songs from October for some followup sessions. I was looking at potentially doing vocals for this one but now that I've finished the initial idea, I'm not so sure. But what do you think? Should I finish this one?
