New Release - Regrowth
Added 2021-10-27 16:01:59 +0000 UTCI wrote another song for Love Tropics again this year and this is it! I've been writing a lot of piano-focused deep house songs this year so I chose that style and worked with the theme of regrowth (hence the name, haha).
There are a lot of elements from the local area in the Caribbean that the charity is working with this year (like marimbas and other tropical elements) as well as some actual ambience from the charity on-location that helped ground the song in reality and location.
This song was really fun to work on and Love Tropics is always an amazing cause to be a part of. I'll be doing a short stream event with them next Friday, as well.

I didn't really have anything planned for Xmas specific stuff tbh, but if I can find some time in late November, might be a cool thing to do on stream! And thank you for the kind words and support!

I don't know if you had planned on one this year, but I would love it if you did "O Christmas Tree" in a more laid-back genre with some of your snazzy-jazzy chords! Anyway, love all the work you put into your music to give us such delightful chunez, and I'll continue to look forward to more projects and songs. <3
