Mar 3 Stream WIP | Melodic 160bpm
Added 2021-03-04 16:01:02 +0000 UTCThis month, you voted for some Melodic Dubstep & Downtempo. I'm going to also include an option later this month for something around 90-110 bpm. We started yesterday with an idea at 160bpm. I streamed for 4 hours and wrote an entire song idea - you can find the VOD on Twitch if you want to see how it developed.
I started out this time around writing percussion. After I wrote the verse percussion I just ran with some chords with some input from chat. Over the course of the stream we developed all the sections into what you hear above.
I think this idea has a lot of promise. That said, there are no FX and the drop sound design is really bad atm. I'd like to structure this for vocals (mine or someone else's) and I think it does a good job of that.
