Monthly Patreon DJ Mix

Hey Everyone,

I'm a little over a year into Patreon and I want to start adjusting some of the benefits for the tiers to ensure that you're getting good content for the amount you're contributing. This month is my first step in doing this. So let's talk about something I've been thinking about for awhile - A Monthly Patreon Mix.

Here are my ideas:

• The first few Monthly Mixes will be for top-tier patrons only (Creative Crew & Executive Producers) - if these go well and I can keep up with them, I want to expand this to all patrons.
• I will stream the Monthly Mix on the last Friday of every month.
• The Monthly Mixes will be available for download for everyone.
• During the stream, each top-tier patron will get a time-slot for their mix - 30 minutes for Executive Producers, 20 minutes for Creative Crew.
• During the stream, I'll be thanking each patron and during their time-slot their name will be on screen.

A few notes about how "requests" will work:

• I'll be reaching out to top-tier patrons at the beginning of every month (expect the first post this week) with a google form to get requests.
• No joke songs - this has to fit within my normal DJ stream selection. Basically, anything electronic.
• I'd like this to be as simple as possible, so for each patron I'm asking for:

- A style/genre,
- A few artists, and/or
- Some example songs

In the form you can fill out as much or as little as you want, but I will need at least something to go on.

The last few months, I feel like I've finally found a good groove for Patreon and my goal for it moving forward is to make sure that for each tier I'm providing good value and that fulfilling that content is feasible for me in my normal work schedule.

In light of that, I'd like to stress that the ideas I'm trying out for the rest of the year (the monthly mix included) are just that: ideas. Once we work out the kinks and figure out if it's something you're excited about and I can fulfill, I'll add it into the Tier-Benefit list.

So as I'm trying things out, please let me know your thoughts. If you have any feedback on this idea, feel free to leave a comment!

I mentioned this at the end of last year but Patreon is what allowed me to feel comfortable in not releasing an album for the first time in almost a decade. I'm also writing better music because of it and this year's album will be SO MUCH better for it.
