Branches - WIP Week 4

Yesterday was the final stream on the May song and from a creative standpoint it's basically finished. There's still a lot left to do on my side (1 more FX pass, pre-drop fill, mixing, mastering, etc).
Here are some final thoughts:
- The 2 sections of the songs (intro/verses and the breaks/builds/drops) feel very different. It could end up being a good thing to have that contrast, but I'm not sure yet. Once I'm done with the final sessions of the song, I might revisit the verse chords and make some small adjustments to help the sections fit better with each other.
- Drop mixing is kind of a mess at the moment, there's too many layers on top of each other and a proper mixing session is really going to help.
- The break/builds section still feel a tiny bit empty and during my FX pass I'm going to address this.
I will be finishing up the next song in week or 2 and as soon as it's finished, I'll post here for you to download. I'm not sure when this will release publicly but I might shuffle some of my scheduled releases back to get this one out sooner.
The next scheduled streaming session will be in July and during June we're going to have a vote for another song.
