New Release - Breathe Again
Added 2019-11-14 17:53:10 +0000 UTCThis song is really special to me - It's a theme for a charity event that happens this weekend called Love Tropics. The event focuses on driving awareness about climate change and how it affects the tropics. Here's more info from my friend who's running the event:
Love Tropics is an annual weekend-long charity livestream marathon to bring the Minecraft community together to raise awareness of and funds for those living in the tropics around the world that aims to inspire those who can make a difference to want to, and to enable those who want to make a difference to be able to.
This song is the theme for the event and it encompasses all the feelings and emotions that surround it. While the theme is quite serious (hence the sad start), overall I wanted to capture the hopefulness of all the people doing the amazing work to combat and to inform about climate change - specifically the challenges that face the people and environment in the tropics!
There was a lot of emotions and themes to include in this song and I detailed my thinking behind the writing and encompassing so many feelings in a previous post here on Patreon.
I've always been a part of the Minecraft community in my own way and I know that many of you found me and my music through it. Having been invited out to Mojang earlier this year to meet so many people I've known online for years, I jumped at the opportunity to support something like this.
