Weekly Update #8

Hey everyone!

I have 1 substantial update this week, a new idea I'm messing around with, and a preview of a song I've been waiting to show you for a few months!

• 0:00 - More of Your Love (Myth): I mentioned I wanted to try some type of vocal element for Myth and this is the result. Playing off a housey/future house vibe I went with pitched vocals and this is the result. It's still very much unmixed but I'm super happy with the result. I'm going to clean this up over the next week and make some final adjustments to the outro/middle section, but I'm looking to release this in late May/early June.
• 3:15 - Return to You: I wanted to show you a new WIP this week but I'll tell you up front that I'm not very sure of how this one is progressing. The main idea was to do my usual progressive house style but slow it down, make it more chill, and use some sounds I haven't used before. The melody and chord idea for the drop I like a lot but I think I am going to redo everything else. I have a few other directions in my mind but I'm curious what your thoughts are.
• 5:29 - Run From Your Love: I'm really excited to finally show this to you. I've been working together with Rosendale (Brian Wang) for a couple months and I have been waiting patiently for this to be in a place to show you all! It's basically done but we might make some final adjustments before we send this out to labels. Hopefully looking to have this one out later this year.

I wanted to mention as well that there were a few of you during April that were ANimal tier and there wasn't a release. I'll be making sure to add those people into the credit section on the first video on YouTube for May :)

All in all it's been a really productive month! For those of you looking for WIP downloads, make sure to check your Patreon feed tonight/tomorrow - they'll be posted after my stream today. And the April WIP vote will be in the morning!

With regards to releases, Tunnel Vision will release mid-May (gonna need a new name for that one). Keystone is coming out May/June on a label, and More of Your Love (Myth) will be releasing end of May/early June. Additionally Unleash Me is probably going to be June/July and Circle Back will also be June July (I'm looking to clean that up and re-record vocals this weekend/early next week).

It's only been 2 months here on Patreon, but I'm already feeling more streamlined, I feel like I'm writing better music, and generally just finishing more projects. As always, thank you so much for your support.

May is going to be a little bit lighter because I'm traveling a lot, but I'll do my best to keep on top of things!
