Jean and Wolftian - grayscale wip

I have to draw the lighting for Wolftians fur next and the shadows on the ground.
Then I start with the colours.
To colour a grayscale I create new layers above all other layers like "skin", "hair" and so on. Those new layers get a specific colour or colours, or even more coloured layers. Each layer gets its own settings. The shading I created in gray before will remain, but gray becomes colour.

Ohhh interesting~ Nice to know how you work on the layers of colours! So you use the grayscale one as a base to do the lighting and shadow on the characters? Very cool! Can't wait to see the finished version!!
