You mentioned Sauron's finger being cut off in the movie. The human who does that is Isildur. The son of Elendil. Isildur is the one who took the bite of the apple after his horse took a bite. The other characters that are in the movie are Elrond. In the movie he was played by Hugo Weaving He was Liv Tyler's father. (on the series he is the blonde male elf LOL) And Galadriel. She was played by Cate Blanchett in the movie.
