I first found your YT channel with This Is Us reactions. Of course I hadn't started watching it until season 2 came out. However I love your channel and your vibe as well as comic relief. And I've honestly been missing you guy's(from another Minnesotan) I didn't know that you had done reactions to Dark or I would have already been on Patreon. However I just finished Ozark after a series binge. Was looking for reaction channels for Ozark and boom there you are!! Just joined your Patron and excited to be back with you both and experience these shows with you!! Much love to you and your family!

I signed up specifically for Dark, as I loved your HOHH reactions on YT.

😁😁 so far I love it! I'll joke around about Germany and pop culture but I'm looking forward to a hell of a show!

I signed up to to your Patreon because I watched your “Haunting of Hill House” reactions on YouTube and you mentioned you were going to be doing “Dark”. I love this show on a visceral level, and I love that I get to be there while someone else experiences all the twists and turns this show throws at you. I have a couple of things I want to say: One, your dog is adorable, and I don’t blame him for falling asleep. It’s a slow build. Two, stop thinking this is just a “German ‘Stranger Things’”. That’s how it was marketed back in the day to get fans, but it’s much more than that. I love “Stranger Things”, don’t get me wrong, but the writers of “Stranger Things” basically researched the movies they watched when they were kids. The writers of “Dark” have tapped into alchemical, Hermetic, Greek mythological, Norse mythological, Jungian psychological, etc. symbolism in their writing. I have a fairly extensive educational background and I was blown away by the amount of research and preparation that must have gone into this. I say “preparation” because I wanted to address the comment about “This isn’t ‘Lost’”. This most definitely isn’t “Lost”. This isn’t a mystery box where “the mystery is more important than the story”, as Abrams would like us to believe. This story was planned out. The devastation you eventually feel is because you didn’t see it coming, and even if you did, you hoped you were wrong. I’m trying to be as vague as possible, but I just want to say this: the Ariadne symbolism was my favorite.
