No release date yet but I did find out today that it will be this year! Mike Flanagan said they did wrap up filming before the pandemic started and post production was done from home. It will probably be around Halloween like the first season

This was the first time I've ever watched a full reaction to anything (and I've seen hundreds upon hundreds of reactions by now) and I was not disappointed. The Haunting of Hill House is truly amazing and I thank you guys for letting me pay a measly 5 dollars to join you as you watched it for the first time.

It will be loosely based on "The Turn of the Screw" Those returning that I have read are Adults Nelle and Luke and maybe Theo? Also the young Dad will be in the new season. Nelle plays a Nanny to two unusual kids.
