The Leftovers FULL REACTION 3x2: Don't Be Ridiculous

Carrie Coon has also been in Season 3 of Fargo, which was pretty stellar. It's interesting that you said that things were peachy-keen in Jardin in Ep 1, but when you peel back that first layer (of plastic bag) they seem just about as damaged as before, if not worse. They're just getting better at hiding it in plain sight. Kevin's trying to feel alive again by attempting to go to "The Other Place" while Nora essentially lost a third child now and seems to literally be "Nora Cursed" by losing everything in her life on top of machinery randomly not working for her the entire episode. Mary left because Matt just became more protective of her than he was before. All in all, I love rewatching this episode just for Carrie's acting chops. You can just visibly see the pain etched in her eyes whenever the script calls for memories of the character's kids. In other news, if you haven't watched it yet, you might enjoy Mr. Robot. It just finished about two months ago to an excellent wrap-up of the series. It's four seasons, so not a huge commitment, and is just as mind-fuckery as the Leftovers can get sometimes without being quite so existentially bleak.

i had no idea it was supposed to be 10! i wish.. Carrie Coon is good in Fargo although i didn't love that season, the first one is the best - and in the Sinner, which was good but not great for me. I hope she gets cast in more amazing shows like The Leftovers! In this 3rd season she is really amazing, she should have won a ton of awards for her Nora Durst role

Isn't this show just so much fun? Inventive and always emotionally honest.

I've Googled her since. She was in Gone Girl as well

Not-so-fun fact - there were originally gonna be 10 episodes to this season. One would focus on the Murphys and Erika in particular, the other on Jill and Tommy. Unfortunately the network only gave them 8 so they had to cut those two. As for your question, Carrie Coon also starred in one season on both Fargo and The Sinner, though I haven't watched them I heard she was great.
