We have another episode of Star Trek TOS today. This week's episode is The Deadly Years. In this episode, our crew arrives on a planet where the crew who was supposed to be in their 20s are dying of old age. After beaming the remaining aging crew aboard the Enterprise, the landing party starts to show significant signs of aging, with the exception of Chekov. Senior officers' mental capacities quickly start to deteriorate which results in a competency hearing for Capt. Kirk! This was such a great episode! Scary, but great! It showed how much mental fortitude it takes to lead a crew like the Enterprise and no one does it better than Kirk! (Sorry Pike!)
I also wanted to say a big thank you for the birthday wishes! Sorry for posting this a day late, our celebration lasted longer than expected last night! 😁
