We have our second Star Trek TOS reaction this week. This time, we are watching The Alternative Factor. This was a really cool episode as it laid the ground work for Star Trek Discovery. I really enjoyed this episode and how they dealt with the character of Lazarus. I can't wait to hear what you guys have to say about it.
Before I go, I want to mention another thing I loved about this episode. I loved seeing the Black female lieutenant and her natural afro. As a woman of colour, this made my heart sing. This episode made me feel seen and represented.

Oh look, it's Vasquez Rocks again! I did say you'd get used to them :) This story must have been truly mind-blowing back in 1966; but,as you pointed out,the Alternative Universe idea has now been done lots of times in ST over the years.
