What Does "Sticking Out Your Gyatt For The Rizzler" Mean? (Ad Free)

Skibidi rizz gyatt Kai Cenat.

If these words didn’t immediately give you an aneurysm, congratulations, you spend too much time on the internet.

This is why the song “sticking out your gyatt for the rizzler, you’re so skibidi, you’re so fanum tax” has gone absolutely stratospheric, as it takes many of the hottest key words to hit the internet and condenses them into a hit track.

Gyatt meaning butt, rizzler pertains to rizz, skibidi - of course - skibidi toilet, and Fanum tax referring to Kai Cenat’s mate who taxes food from his friends.

The song is written and performed by homestucklover398, and was uploaded on the 3rdof October this year to Fortnite footage.

It was swiftly shared amongst groups who feel threatened and confused by their lack of understanding of the terminology, not knowing that each bit the kid mentions is insanely popular online.

What’s interesting is that much of it is being referred to as “gen alpha” slang by Gen Z, who seem afraid their lack of understanding of each of these terms puts them out of touch, but much of these words in the song were popularized by both millennials and gen z before Gen Alpha began using them too.

That being said the song was likely written with confusion in mind, drawing upon the classic trend wherein popular slang of any given year is put into meme format, which has been the case with words such as “kai cenat, skibidi toilet, ohio and baby gronk” for much of 2023.

It’s happened almost every year, and it’s easy to find examples back when slang such as “lit, fleek, and dab” was ironically popular in the mid 2010s for millennials.

Ultimately, the fact that the song is sung by a child makes many feel even more out of touch from those younger than them, and this feels like an artistic choice.

It’s reminiscent of the “chug jug with you” meme from 2021, in which a bunch of fortnite terminology was sung in a high pitched voice by Leviathan.

Or, not long ago, the “pibby bluey ohio” piece by TheRealNeoThe.

It just goes to show how much of schoolyard culture and lexicon is dominated by internet memes, similar to when saying “sheesh” and pointing to one’s arms was in vogue, confusing everyone else.

It becomes a way for artists to satirise the ridiculously fast moving pace of slang evolution, which can feel overwhelming in a world influenced by the quickest evolving units of culture, memes.

In short, “sticking out your gyatt for the rizzler” is simply a song that takes a familiar meme structure and propels it into 2023, confusing many who feel out of touch with online culture, yet making those who understand it feel closer than ever.
