Yep - turning the failsafe key sent his conscious back in time....then he was hit in the head by the cricket bat to send him back to the island...that's when the flashes started in 2004....then Charlie hit him with the oar in the boat and knocked him out, that stopped all of the flashes. In the Constant, flying off the island triggered the nosebleeds but that was stopped by talking to Penny.

Just started watching, but just a heads up - Desmond got "fixed" at the end of The Constant. He has all of his memories back, including from the island, and is 2004-Desmond again, to put it that way.

Season 1 Episode 16 "Outlaws" - from Lostpedia They tell him about the recent events, and Locke talks about a dog that appeared to his foster mother after her daughter died. The pet stayed up with her, sleeping on the daughter’s bed every night until his mother died. Kate asks whether he thought it was his sister, but Locke says what mattered was his mother's belief in it. There are a couple more spots where it is discussed in the show but this was one of them

I wonder how many theories and mistakes I'd have if I had done reactions the first time I watched Lost - a whole heckuva lot more than Mike! 44:45 "So Locke's Mom is actually his grandma...what about his real mom, where did she end up where did she go?" Either I'm confused or you are, lol. We met John's mom (Emily, played by Swoosie Kurtz) in Season 1 Dues Ex Machina, in this episode we see she was 16 when she had him after the car accident. After she ran out of the hospital room, John's Grandma asked "Who do I talk to about adoption", meaning giving him up for adoption, not adopting him. Like John said (I think) in Season 1, he grew up in foster care. Not sure what else the actor who plays "Keamy" has been in, but I saw him in a couple of episodes of Vikings. This season had 13 episodes because it was 2008 - writers strike killed a couple of episodes. Originally, seasons 4, 5, and 6 were supposed to have 16 episodes each. Instead, we ended up with 14, 17, and 18 respectively.

I watched this episode when it first aired so many times even in slow mo with my vcr just looking for stuff. Creepy claire really freaked me out back in the day too and never aging richard. Great reaction love
