This is one of Dominic Monaghan's best episodes in my opinion.

Mike, are you starting to recognize the different score themes? Like Jack's theme, the Oceanic theme? Life and death? Man, I can listen to your reaction with my eyes close and still connect to it so deeply.

I am a dentist, not Rambo. - underrated line

Your hallway diatribe reads just like the old online discussion boards back in the day when the show was on live lol. Also I think Locke just taking vision Walt's word for it and stabbing Naomi in the back when he doesn't even know who she is is a perfect example of how he is a man of faith and Jack is a man of science, or proof. He gets a vision and it tells him to do something and he does it, no questions asked. It's what the island wants. Jacks has a goal to get his people off the island and is going to make that happen no matter what. That's the logical course of action. But in Jack's flash forward we start to see him go the other direction. Something in his gut, or faith, is making him feel differently.

We have to go back...I remember watching this episode back in day live I was in shock..spoilers were not prevalent back then. You could not execute this twist nowadays it would be all over reddit
