Soldiers, such as the men in Easy Company, were too valuable to the war effort against Japan for the military to say, Good job in Europe, you can go home now. It was thought we would need over a million men to invade Japan. It is only because we dropped the atomic bombs on Japan that we didn’t have to lose hundreds of thousands of more men.

2021-09-30 04:12:37 +0000 UTCYou are not done with Band of Brothers -- there is one more episode. It is a documentary about the Easy Company guys and it is better than all of the 10 episodes. The guys tell their stories, they show real footage of them during the war and after the war. It shows some of the guys in their 80's visiting Bastogne. It also shows them at their reunions -- they had annual reunions their whole lives. You should react to it -- it is available on YouTube and is called "We Stand Alone Together". If you ever buy the Band of Brothers DVD it comes with the documentary. It is about an hour long.
