WIP Update Notes

I started a new mod during some free time I had over the holidays! This one is a an active Freelance Entertainer career. Active, in the sense that you spend all of your time actually playing gigs at lounges, weddings, parties and music festivals. 

You work for the Entertainer's Union, and It plays like the Paranormal Career, in that you choose upcoming freelance gigs to perform at, although there are a lot more gigs. You start by only getting morning shifts in Lounges (6AM at a lounge is...grim, lol) and gigs like delivering singing telegrams, and work your way up to doing busy weekend evenings and nighttimes, Music Festivals, and maybe some gigs at the movie lot for Telethons (not sure on that one yet).

Pictured above is the nascent Burning Sim festival in Oasis Springs, I'm adding vendor booths, market tables, and all the festival stuff currently. I have a few other festivals in mind (Newcrest Jazz Festival, Simplash Sulani, and probably something with an umlaut in Windenburg). You perform at them, but you can't attend them (unless you perform at them). It's still a bit of fun. I wouldn't rule out being able to make them 'attendable', but it's a more difficult task.

The mainstay of the career is lounge jobs. I've added some entertainer interactions that make playing three 1 hour sets at a Lounge easier, so that you can just loop through all the songs in a genre (Jazz, Pop, etc). It scores your work based on how many Sims are watching you at once, which already meshes really well with the existing skill based systems. You also get tips, fame, and the extra bonuses from Comedy if you perform a Routine and sims enjoy it.

Also adding some smaller gigs like delivering singing telegrams, performing somewhere moderately humiliating involving the hot dog costume, etc. I want to add some variety here.

I'm also looking to bring music performance skills into more parity with Acting, since the existing Entertainer career is so poor (imho). 

Also

• Working on finishing up the product labels for the Apothecary Mod (it's a bit tedious...).
• Making some gameplay adjustments to the Minecrafting Mod.
• Still looking for that one thing that makes the Cyberpunk Mod 'work'. 

Also, in the process I learned a LOT about creating gig-based active freelance careers and career situations that put 'stuff' on and off lot to work with. Expect to see more. :)
