You should go to one of the support Discord channel links I provide in the release post. If this is a known EA issue, someone on the support team may have information. Or, they might have heard about a similar issue from another user. I don't keep-up with all of the known bugs in the game, really...just the ones I have seen personally.

2026-03-18 16:51:47 +0000 UTCOk, first I'm going to admit that I am embarrassed to say that I cannot figure Discord out. Never have been able to , I try and try but I can't ever get anything to post. So, anyway, I just want to ask if anyone else was affected by today's update? My problem was Mccc wouldn't work on any of my saves after the update. I uninstalled it and reinstalled and now it will work on any new save but still not any previous ones. Anyone else having this problem?

2026-03-18 16:21:53 +0000 UTCCAS can't be modified by script modders like myself. It can be changed in small ways by UI modders using flash mods, but it is very limited (things like changing icons or increasing columns). CAS is in C++ and Flash and is otherwise not moddable. The reason we have the limit on 104 is because that's the maximum number that EA will show on the screen. If we increase it more, you would not be able to see or select additional Sim, if it worked at all. Chances are, it would just corrupt your save file instead. Thanks for your thanks!

2026-03-18 09:09:40 +0000 UTCMCCC is working, yes, but in some player's games, the Sims 4 is not loading all of their mods so if a player's game doesn't load MCCC then it won't work for them.

MCCC loaded fine for me and all of my tests I run after each update ran fine, as well, other than the one for the notification that I posted the update about. Hopefully, they'll get it fixed soon so we can tell what are really issues and what are problems with the update!

2026-03-17 21:05:54 +0000 UTCJust as a warning. Apparently something is pretty broken. Lots of people have lots of mods that aren't loading. I had a problem with some add-ons I bought for the Sims 4 not loading right either! :-|

2026-03-16 06:16:15 +0000 UTCYes. The core game code is the same regardless of the add-ons that people have purchased. Only the tuning files (objects/situations/interactions and such) are different. MCCC works on hte core game code, so it doesn't matter what add-ons people are using. The changes EA did the the family tree and family relationships for R&L is included in the base game now regardless of whether people have bought R&L or not.

I got out of the game to make sure that I had that script installed correctly (I did) and then saw you had an update. I'm going to go back in game and see if it shows up. Fingers crossed that it's just a me error and nothing more. I'll keep you posted.
