Dragonsthrall visit

Emrys will be visiting Dragonsthrall in order to maintain appearances, and it would be unwise to do so without a plan. Can’t be wasting too much time. We are two experience shy of level 7, but Emrys doesn’t want to spend more than a day or so (or a single chapter) there.

Try to meet Aashaq face to face, even if only briefly. This might take some doing, but it’s worth 1 exp and a magic necklace that will boost Emrys’s magical strength and charisma.

Network with dragons. These fuckers have MONEY, and more customers is always better. This will likely involve a decent bit of kissing ass, as Kelizar is a downright saint compared to the kinds of dragons that live in Aashaq’s orbit.

See if we can find anyone to sell these goblins to that won’t immediately sacrifice them for the glory of Dahak.

Funny thing about the Worthy Crew perk. Emrys can take anyone willing and immediately give them a marketable skillset on the spot, and he could probably use some more manpower. Go down to the slave market and buy some poor saps that would otherwise be killed and/or eaten. If they want to leave, they can leave at the next port. On the one hand this is feeding into the demand for slaves. On the other hand these specific people are probably about to be killed and eaten.

Kobolds are small. Would they be willing to buy Gobron’s Ship? We aren’t likely to get a great deal if we sell the ship quickly, but it’s a serious drain on manpower. We MIGHT be able to get more for it if we don’t try to sell it in a hurry.

Try to hawk our wares as magic item material salesmen. We have several masterwork halberds to sell, and an actual, literal ton of magically charged coral to offload.

Kick up a ruckus and try to make a name for yourself there, contributing to the mission to become known in 5 different major ports.

Get into a drinking competition with stakes of at least 50 gp. If we win, we get 1 exp and a “minor boon”

Go on a date with one of Emrys’s girls; Dragonsthrall isn’t exactly a city with a lot of fun to be had, but I’m sure a clever lad like Emrys could figure something out.

Quietly make inquiries about someone keeping 4 semi-possessed gillmen imprisoned for about a year, no questions asked. Just, you know. A price check.

Whatever we do, we are not letting Rowe be seen in public right now. Disguise her or keep her on the ship; we can’t afford to waste too much time beating off goblin stalkers.
