Faction Sphere: Shae - establishes a permanent tie to the Shae of House Ankari and backs the alliance with a feat (similar to adding the entire noble house as a follower, making betrayal less likely). Allows Emrys to borrow or purchase items from the Shae without spending spell points to summon Yael. Potential loaned items include weapons, armor, mounts, and alchemical items. Items beneath a certain generous threshold may be gifted instead of loaned, but resale of gifts would be considered a grave insult.
Craftsman follower - Emrys can declare one follower at a time to be a Craftsman. This will give them ranks in one Craft skill equal to Emrys’s level. As of this level, this is enough to create masterwork items with several days of dedicated effort, or normal high quality items in the normal amount of time.
Worthy Crew - All members of Emrys’s party, including himself, party members, minions, and followers, gain maximum ranks in the skill Profession (Sailor). This means that anyone he recruits will be instantly and completely competent at all sailing related tasks.
Auspicious Display - When Emrys is wearing expensive items primarily for their decorative value, he gains a scaling bonus to his AC and saves. At 1000 gp this is +1, at 4000 +2, 9000 +3, 16000 +4. This is a massive defensive buff, but it MUST be primarily a flex. Practical items that are overly ornate, such as his enchanted gold necklace, count for 10% of their market value.
Manager - Emrys can declare up to two members of his crew (more at higher levels) to be a manager. This gives them all the skills needed to operate one business venture he has already set up, from a business to sailing a ship to port for sale. They will be able to deal with any standard issues they may face in this role that does not involve combat.
Razor Ice- Inheritor bonus option. When in natural or Magical cold weather, Emrys’s allies will be protected with flurries of razor sharp ice. This will passively do very small amounts of damage to anyone that makes attacks against his allies, and increase the damage of their unarmed or natural attacks.
