November’s Plot Bunnies Poll and Retrospective

Yet again, thank you all for staying with me for another month. To say that I couldn’t do this without you is factually true, yet also bordering on the understatement of the year because I don’t think I’ve properly processed how much I’ve grown thanks to you all.

No, I’m not talking about my waist. Shut up. I’m working on it.

Anyway, you may have noticed that this month’s polls have come out later than usual, and that’s mostly due to my rushing to get as much done as I could in the end-of-the-month rush. I’m somewhat recovered from that, and I’ll do my best to go to bed before the sun rises in the next few weeks.

And yes, that counts as a goal for this month.

As to the others? Well, I did quite a bit of preliminary work in that original project that you should’ve gotten a glimpse of during Halloween, but that has sadly been postponed due to me literally crashing before I could complete it. I’m giving myself until Monday to get something out in a readable format, and I hope it will capture a bit of the magic that Ginosko did, even if the setting and characters are quite different this time around.

I’m relieved that I managed to finish both the latest Tales and Konosuba chapters because both of them fought me really hard, but the good thing about that is that the next A Pure Knight’s Natural Enemy is already half-formed in my head, RPG rant included, and that’s about… let’s say 65% of the process. The next Tales could be any number of things, though, depending on what I go with for the next chapter. There are two that come to mind that would be far less troublesome to write than me taking the “mindbroken elf knight” trope seriously and not making myself puke in my mouth, so it should be slightly less work.

The next Marvel’s What If #63… that should come out in the next couple of weeks, if I don’t mess up. And I’ll be getting back to Wordsworth as soon as I write that—not to mention the next Puella Monstrum, which placed high enough in my latest priority poll to warrant some focus.

(Okay, I just did mention it. Sayaka should have her comeuppance soon enough.)

I’ll also be taking a look at precisely how many words I owe my monthly commissioners because I’m just plain terrible at keeping track of things, and that’s inexcusable.

And then, for the coup de grace… Well, it’s been a while since I wrote a Seasonal Special, and Thanksgiving is right around the corner, so…
