August 22th to 28th Schedule

Yet again, the end of the month nears, and there are an infinite amount of things I wanted to have done already.

Also yet again, my predictions for last week were off the mark, which I’m pretty sure isn’t a trend that will repeat itself in the current week.

Regarding the postmortem, last week more or less worked in that I wrote what I feel is a good output both in terms of quality and quantity. Wake-up Call in particular was quite a tour de force, if that’s something I’m allowed to say about myself. That being said, what went wrong? Well, two things: the first one is that I’m a moron who forgot I meant to write Wordsworth and so switched Ginosko for it at the last moment. The second is that it took me quite a while to read through Tart Magica so I could write the Puella Monstrum chapter up to the usual standards, and then I had a bit of a stumbling block with Tart’s voice, which meant it wasn’t ready on Wednesday and so I had to skip Yui’s Lily Garden.

All in all, nothing too bad, given the past month and my constant screw-ups over it. Heck, I even had to attend my cousin’s wedding in Mexico through a Zoom meeting on Saturday (which is precisely as soul-draining as it sounds) and still managed to get some proper writing done afterward. Not bad, all things considered.

Now, about this week’s schedule… Let’s hope it goes at least that well:

- Monday: I’ve been working on the next A Pure Knight’s Natural Enemy. There’s no way I’ll finish today, though, and maybe that’s for the best. I want to nail this one.

- Tuesday: Wake-up Call. The direct continuation of last week’s whole… thing.

- Wednesday: A Pure Knight’s Natural Enemy. In which Kazuma goes shopping.

- Thursday: All Right! Fine! I’ll Take You! In which Iroha doesn’t go shopping. Also, the polls will go up.

- Friday: Tales from a Lewd Fantasy World. This one is a priority, and may push back anything that goes afterward.

- Saturday: Puella Monstrum Madoka Moecha. In which Kyuubey has an endearing flashback (and the lack of irony in this sentence hurts to write).

- Sunday: Wordsworth. In which the date ends, and they go back to their eternal apartment.

And… well, that’s about it. I just hope I can nail this one week, because I shudder to think about cramming too much at the literal end of the month (I still want to write Ginosko and Yui’s Lily Garden).
