So... The good news Is the power issues seem to have been solved.

The bad news (or, well, hopefully good news) is that I'm rushing to the hospital in a bit to see whether this time the donor will be suitable for my father, who's already in the ER, so look forward to me slipping up this week depending on how this whole thing goes (I'm using irony and humor as a way to deflect and not get overly invested in case it turns out the operation can't be carried out once again--it's not working). Wish him luck.

Edit: The transplant is going through. The operation will start at six a.m. (in three hours) and will take from eight to ten hours. I'll obviously be in here making sure my mother doesn't end up in her own emergency situation (nor I, for that matter), so... Well, fingers crossed, and I'll try to write something from time, but the following days will obviously be complicated.
