I would have posted these sooner but there are a lot of information I wanna make sure I present them properly.
As I teased in the previous public post, the UI and Salon segment will be totally reworked, and especially the hair system in a way that will allow more precise hair customization
As there are now 5 layers of hair (Back, Scalpx2, Middle and Front) and so, there will be more possible variety of haircuts
Some style can be more extreme than the last, but here's hoping most combinations can still be form a coherent hairstyle instead of nonsense.
also, the back-mirror will be scrapped in favor for the "Turnaround" feature, which will turn the client around showing the full view of their behind.
While this may mean I hafta do double of certain assets (i.e clothes) but I do have some solution in mind
Using the Tint event command, I could easily make hair and skin and eyes of different colors without having to make several separate assets of them.
Of course, the other hairs will be included as well, and more, to give the customers more varied in style and personality
Now comes the real meaty part of this total rework, the haircutting aspect will be minigame in their own way, instead of just selecting a buncha multiple choice answers but this will be more hands on action.

Still working out the kinks with this one, to ensure smooth and steady snipping, you can trim inch by inch or cut straight from the top, is your choice and that seems more fun, I hope.

This minigame is still very rough, but the idea is to mow dow the selected area of the head, and the more you hold to shave, the more hair will be buzzed. Still WIP, it may work differently in the actual build
And more tools will be worked on, i.e the razor and shampooing next, still thinking how to make it a minigame and also within my RPGmaker cpaabilities.

Yes, now there will be a much more animated sexual content, that will surpass the vibrator mode of the previous version, altho I will still include the sex toys alongside the fuckers to give much variety to the H content.
The other thing I also wanna show how the haircut minigame can effects the client's hair in real time while they are animated, this will tie in to the sort of erotic responses from the client.
Again, i apologize for the rough art assets, coz these was made before I start rendering the new client art assets.
Also I apologize for the censorship, gotta adhere to the Fanbox guidelines, but I promise you the real version will be 100% explicit
I hinted before that there will be other locations besides the main Shop and her home above, but for story and progression sake, I decided to make 3 tiers of the home shop, more or less like the following diagram:
The idea is that Pearly will start with a smaller salon when she started the business, and it limited to basic services until she earned enough funds and reputation to afford the next tier, which will open up more stuffs.
As of now, the map is still WIP, so the current map design is not final, because the way mapmakign work in RPGm isnt really to my liking, so I've been testing out with Parallax Mapping, like the following example.

this will allow me to make the environment the way I would like while giving room to some gameplay elements
Besides the Salon (and the shops previously teased in the last blog), there will be another couple location I'm conceptualizing. What are their purpose, that will be a mystery for now

The game world can only be so much until there are NPCs to fill with.
Besides Pearly and Ain (and the clients), there will be more characters tht will play some integral role to the game both story and functional
Those who played the old build can prolly guess this guy's function

A friendly face perhaps? This man will be someone you will deal with very often.
Whoever this girl is, she is far more important than you think, plays a critical role in Pearly's story.
I hope to implement them in the future build, if I could render their bust-art proper.

I cannot promise when, but I can only say as soon as I possibly can, because I want you guys to experience this new version in the best way I want it to.
BUT I do hope to release a new mini-demo for you guys to test out the new haircut tool system, really soon, tho it will be very limited (no story and H stuffs) but its something to hold you guys over while I work on the new EA version of the game
