We FINALLY got to add COLOR!!!!
Added 2023-07-03 15:56:21 +0000 UTCIt feels like so much was leading up to this moment!!!! Our *hope* going into it was that all the hard parts were over. That only proved to be partially true haha. Yes, I think making the design and translating that into a physical “outline” for our resin was the most difficult part, but at the same time this resin portion is taking much longer than expected and is tough on the backs. We took a break part way through because our resin helmet batteries both died, and that break made me realize how long we’d been hunching over the workbench!
Turns out that even though I did my best to end up with compartments large enough to fill with resin, some are too small even for our syringes! Which means we are having to resort to toothpicks haha.
But hey - it’s looking good so far so I can’t complain! -Katelyn
