New “Buy vs DIY” project… for Joob!

It’s been forever since we did a “Buy vs DIY” video (if you’re new to the channel, it’s where we try making a product we’ve seen, but also buy the product, open it at the end, and see how our “DIY compares to the “buy”). Specifically, we’re gonna try to make this cat toy/scratcher/ball thing…
It’s something we got tagged in a lot when it first hit the market, so we’re a bit late to the game but we’re still excited to try making our own version!
Now, why is Evan in a pile of cardboard in the photo above? Because one change we’re gonna make is using cardboard boxes to make the circle out of (you can see we’ve started cutting some circles out already!) We figured it’d be a good way to use “free” stuff and keep the cost low, since one of the factors we compete for is how the cost of ours compares to the buy.

I’ll admit… I’m not sure if Joob is gonna go for it or not (she tends to be more motivated to test creations she can sleep on/in…) but it’s worth a shot! -Katelyn

You should dye the stuff you are gonna wrap around the ball. Like get a tub of water and add some dye and let it soak for a bit. joob is the cutest bean ever
