Corset Week 2024

For the last 8 days I've been working non stop with my costume designer buddy who flew in from Virginia to help me put together the hard parts of this year's big outfits. We worked approximately 6am to 10p every single day (which is why my content has been a little less copious). And now we have the core parts done!

Which means I can tell you a secret: my big build for 2024 is a complete 18th century / rococo era Robe a la Francaise (Marie Antoinette era, if you're not quite placing it). And because it's being made of 18 yards of dark red silk, I'm going to make it an alternate history version of the Scarlet Witch!

Soon I will show you photos of my new corset /stays (and all the other underpinnings). But first, I'm going to sleep for about a year...
