So here is a weird pitch... what if instead of trying to prevent your cat from scratching your furniture, you wanted your cat TO scratch furniture?

Well, at least the furniture you customized specifically for her to scratch! So for our next video we're turning a chair into a scratching post. We chose a chair because Joobie likes to sit next to us while we eat meals and we wanted her to have her very own special chair! One thing I've been observing and noticing over time is that she likes her perches to be VERY stable so we're starting things off by adding a heavy weight to the bottom of the chair so she can jump up and off it without it wiggling and so if she scratches the sides, there is no chance of it tipping over.

...I think eventually we're going to end up with a special Joobie item in every room but we love spoiling her 😺 -E
