Making glass beads has been an awesome experience... with lots of sweaty moments in between haha! The "instructional" DVD ended up being like 3 minutes so we were definitely learning as we went. One big surprise was how much the melting glass gave off a different color flame as it melted.

After you're done making the beads you also have to put them into a super insulated fiberglass blanket for a little nap so they don't cool too fast and shatter into a hundred pieces of sadness, but at least we got to see them for a bit (15 seconds of cooling) before their slumber.

Also we're still figuring out what to make from the beads if they don't shatter but we're thinking about turning them into necklace charms. Y'all have any other thoughts for them? -Evan
