Hey guys, wanted to give y'all a little bit more detail on how Evan's doing than we shared on socials. First off - today has been a really good day. He was given solid foods for the first time and he's been able to keep them down, and he's finally not hooked up to an IV because he's able to take all meds orally. I was able to give him a real hug for the first time since we went to the ER!!!!

It's been a pretty rough several days though - he was much more progressed than a standard appendicitis (usually people come in after 2-3 days of swelling because of the pain - he came in after 4-5) and he had perforations, which they didn't see on his CT scan so they put his surgery at the end of the day, thinking it wasn't urgent. He wasn't able to keep liquids down for the first few days and he got a secondary infection they've been fighting with extra antibiotics.

This is day 6 at the hospital and we HOOOOPPPPEEEEE that they'll discharge him tomorrow. Everybody cross your fingers and toes. Now, after that, I'm not sure how things are gonna go. We do plan on on posting the Bob Ross in the Dark video sometime soon (we already filmed it all and edited some of it before going to the hospital).

But after that... I'm not sure when we'll be making content regularly. He can't lift anything over 10 lbs for 6 weeks so that means projects may take longer as I move things around solo, and also coughing/throat clearing *really* hurts so doing lots of talking will be off the table for a while.

We'll figure it all out and I'll make sure he doesn't push himself too much. In the meantime, I wanna say thanks to you guys for the support even when crazy life things pop up. Thank you for all the support and well wishes. It means a lot. <3 Katelyn
