Added 2020-06-16 15:56:12 +0000 UTCHey guys! Have another update on the resin pencils to share with you. With some help from vegetable-oil filled syringes... we got the pencils out of the mold! Despite forgetting mold release! Not gonna lie though, we were worried there before we tried the veggie oil... they just would NOT come out.
We also came up with a surprisingly easy way to extract pencil lead without breaking it: soak it in water and then squeeze til the wood popped off. It's pretty satisfying in video form. Insert surprise YouTuber Thumbnail Faces :P
