Secret Costume Reveal
Added 2022-08-27 18:00:08 +0000 UTCIm officially confirmed for the Villain Vogue Fashion Show and THAT MEANS i have a secret costume! Which is super exciting because this is exactly the sort of content I want to show to patrons!!!!
Please do NOT repost or save this info since it's part of the rules that I don't make my complete ensemble public before the day of. It would be a gross breach of etiquette for me to do so, and I very much want to stay in the good graces of the costume exhibit folks so I am welcome next year too!
Here's my costume: GOLDEN BATTLE ANGEL. I'm working with an incredible SFX artist to create a post apocalyptic, glamour based version of Dante's Lucifer. The quickest way to explain it is: think of a battle worn angel, robes torn and ravaged by the struggle. But instead of blood & gore, we're using 'molten' gold. My sfx makeup will look kinda like that one scene from the first season of game of thrones. (Only I wont be dead.) And my white wings (and robes) will be splattered with melted 'gold' (i included some inspo images for you here as well as a photo of my white wingskin).
If you're in atlanta and you want to see my costume reveal live on the runway: VVFS is part of dragoncon. It takes place on Sunday 8/4 at 2:30p. You DO have to be a dragoncon member (with a badge) to attend, but it's free for dragoncon members. If you're not a dragoncon member and you want to be, do that ASAP because it will sell out and there are no on-site sales if i understand correctly.
Otherwise, ill post photos here as I get them (yeahhhhhh im still finishing it up).
