What's NEW in V22?
+ NEW 'DYNAMIC MOTIVATION' FEATURE
This is based around a recent discovery I made! You will now find the CPU reacts differently to going ahead or behind in a match.
This makes in-game situations much more interesting, varied - and difficult! The results will vary, but you won't feel like the CPU drops their heads as soon as you score the first goal anymore.
Now you will experience a much more intense 90 minutes, where you have to be switched on at all times.
+ CHANGES TO TACKLING/PRESSING
It's now much more difficult to steal the ball and defending feels a lot more manual.
Defending is now more of a manual and measured experience, where you can no longer simply pressure all game long until you win the ball.
The changes implemented here are both mechanical and stat based, so players like Rodri will still stand out a lot more!
This change has a big impact on the overall gameplay.
+ NEW PHYSICALITY
Expect a lot more variety in collisions now. You can now concede fouls purely based on the left stick. If you time your approach wrong,
you can foul - same goes with the CPU. (This can be added to or reduced using the options in the Full Gameplay Package).
+ SLOWER PASSING SPEED
The regular and medium versions see a reduction in passing speeds now and the ball moves much more naturally.
Tip: If you want to revert back to the V21 regular passing speed, just use the 'Slightly Increased Passing Speed Option'.
+ DEFENSIVE STABILITY
Defenders no longer charge into attack and leave their position open.
This improvement creates a lot more stability in the overall gameplay experience.
+ IMPROVED CLEARANCES
The ball no longer will travel from one side of the field to the other when you clear it.
+ CPU FREE-KICK ACCURACY REDUCTION
Expect the CPU to find it more difficult to score freekicks.
+ REDUCED BLOCKS / INTERCEPTIONS
Blocks and interceptions will feel more natural now.

DON'T FORGET TO READ THE .TXT FILES.
If you don't read these files then you will not get the mod set-up as intended and it won't work properly!
Just a couple of important ones to remember especially:
50/50 sliders and NORMAL in-game pace.
Your in-game ref needs to be set to 'VERY LENIENT' for V22 (unless you're using different referee options, of course).
REMINDER:
It's good practice to delete the 'FC24' temp folder before you use my gameplay mod for the first time.
If you've been using something different for gameplay for example and then you switch back to mine, then it's especially important.
It's also the first step you should take if you're finding some strange behaviours etc.
To do this:
- Search for %appdata% in your windows explorer.
- Appdata
- Local
- Temp
- Find the 'FC24' folder and delete.

2024-09-05 16:03:39 +0000 UTCHey, the mechanics of manual have been improved in the V22 standalone already, so you will notice differences. You don't need to use anything specifically with manual, all of the same options still work. Regarding the read me files, depending on where you have the folder some may not appear, just put them onto your desktop, or take them out of the folder if you're having issues and you'll be able to read them.

The skating/sliding for me and for pretty much everyone else using the mod find it dramatically better. Try clearing your %appdata% / Local / Temp / FC24 folder. Also, you can increase this friction even further too with the 'Heavy Switch' option or the 'Increased Field Friction V2'. On top of that, I recommend trying the 'Slower Walk Speed' options to create even more grounding in the movement.

2024-08-22 03:39:11 +0000 UTCInteresting way to word the question man. I’ve always maintained that the foot planting / animation system isn’t perfect from the beginning. I’ve improved it dramatically from what it was I can assure you (have you not spent any time with the vanilla game?), but EA are needed to fix those elements properly. I can’t do motion capture from over here! I assume you’re coming from PES 2021. This game does so much good in the mod, but if you can’t get beyond the imperfect foot planting to see it then not sure what to tell you.

2024-08-20 20:10:36 +0000 UTCNo worries Paul, yeah I think those options will be a good place to start. A couple of other options you could also try are the 'Contain - More Intense' and also the Physicality option. This will make the CPU be less resistant to challenges.

I have been playing FC24 for a few months now so I kinda got familiar enough with the match mechanics, that is kinda why I sought some sort of mod to improve it. The tackling issue is like I position my defender, time the tackling, he tackles the ball and somehow the two players collide and the ball just sticks to the attacker and he passes by. It went, a couple of times, as far as the attacker was surrounded by 4 of my players and still managed to escape the tackling, with the ball ricocheting to him, somehow. I deleted the folder, I actually re-installed the game entirely as I saw in one of your posts for the 21 version that sometimes re-installing may help. As I said it might just be me, I admit I am not the greatest fifa player, but with the default game I ended up winning with unreal scores, thus my orientation to your mod. Thanks and I will experiment with the options as you suggested.

2024-08-20 04:52:40 +0000 UTCNo changes to the injuries at all, it's the same as V21. The V22 version should actually be slower, as the passing speed has been slowed down from V21 to V22. Pressing hasn't been added to either from V21, but if you want to reduce it you can use the 'Default Pressing' Option. Hope this helps :)

However, I felt that he is faster, which is not a problem, but in midfield disputes there are many passing errors after disarming, due to constant pressure. Do you hear any changes to the injury mod? Highly serious injuries are occurring at a somewhat high frequency. Can you tell me if the sliders can be adjusted to solve this?

2024-08-20 03:38:47 +0000 UTCHey Paul. Haha interesting take. Are you familiar with FC's passing mechanics or are you coming from PES? If so, give yourself some time to adjust. Have you used the 'default ground pass' option? I made some changes to the passing mechanics for specific reasons, but I know some people prefer the default mechanic, so if you use that option you can set it back. Regarding tackling, it hasn't been my experience, but based on what you've said, why don't you try the 'tackling - more intense' option. This makes tackling able to come from many more angles etc. I haven't heard anyone have an issue with not being able to tackle and win the ball before though, so I'm not quite sure what you're experiencing. Spend some time exploring the options and trying things, there's many changes available to be made to adjust big and small areas of the gameplay. Not sure about this with the pace, I'm certainly able to catch up with fast players etc. Try deleting your %appdata% / Local / Temp / FC24 folder.

It is very narrow like you said yeah, I haven't found it to be something exploitable yet though. I feel the narrow attack actually helped in that area to make it less exploitable.

2024-08-19 20:57:41 +0000 UTCI currently play its version V21 + Alternative Tackle + injuries + Attacking Possition 4, I think the gameplay like this is very good, but I'm bothered by the distance of the shots when moving the ball away from the defense, they usually reach the opposing goalkeeper. To keep the gameplay similar to where I am, what do you suggest?

I have no idea if this is how it is meant to work but passing is wack, I basically never know if the player will send the pass where I want it to. Not even short passes. tackling seems to not be an option, no matter what, the ball will end up with the adversary, even if I have 4 players around the man with the ball he will somehow end up going through them. And my defender with 90 pace can't keep up with a player that has 67 pace. Either I am the worst player or I somehow messed up the install (despite doing everything as in the instructions).

2024-08-17 19:12:52 +0000 UTCHey man, sorry I don’t quite know what you mean? Do you mean the in-game speed? It must be on normal in-game pace or the mod won’t work properly. Half length is up to you, there’s many ways you can adjust with options to cater for different half lengths. I play 8-10 minute halves and I have realistic scorelines.
