That being said, the cool thing about going to music school is that your assignments are musical. Here's something I wrote for an advanced rhythm studies class.
This piece involves polyrhythms of 5 against 4 against 3, superimpositions, changing meters while keeping the beat constant, and other cool jazz. Hope you like it! I'm going to expand on this song and hopefully have it played by a band one day.
