It was business as usual at Tap N' Tails. Abigale, the owner and matron manned the front desk, the bar was busy with Johns looking for company, and the poker game in back was remaining civil. The door to the outside swung open and the thump of spurred boots tramped in to the brothel. A few heads turned and conversation quieted.

The figure in the door cut an imposing figure, clad in heavy, dark travelling clothes, a black duster covered in mud and dirt from the road. A blood red bandanna and a wide hat hid their facial features and they wore a gunbelt with a pair of heavy peacemakers and a lassoe on their waist.

The figure tromped across the floor, heading right for Abigale's desk. The matron opened her mouth, beginning to admonish the stranger, “You're dragging mud all over my nice rugs. I would ask you to--.” She was cut off as a stack of bills landed on the desk and Abigale's tune changed just as swiftly, “What may we do for you... sir?” “A bottle of whiskey.” came the reply, a femminen voice and the figure pulled down the bandanna to reveal the snout of a comley rat, “A room. And a whore. And I'm going to need her... all... night.” she emphasized.

Abigale smiled and turned to the room and called out to her daughter, “Shayla.” The pink mouse strode over, sizing up the rat as she neared her mother's side. “Be a dear,” she continued, “and see to our guest's every need.”
