This is usually trivially easy to find, but in this case, it's not likely to be, unless the wife testifies. However, that's a legal issue that would be raised later. It's absolutely true that such a confession would likely amount to probable cause to arrrest. One might arrest such a person and then ask the wife in private if the abuse was ongoing.

That guy was one of Hollywood's go to for "Evil Japanese martial artist" for a while there in the 80s, which feels kind of racist but it's always nice to see him in a movie. He was the sort of third banana bad guy in Samurai Cop who I think had a galaga machine in his bedroom.

A friend of mine asked me to go with him to his sister's wedding in high school, and his sister had the more environmentally conscious packets of bird seed instead of rice. But yeah, I accidentally got her right in the face with a handful of bird seed. My throw ended up more like pocket sand.
