I think Eli must have had some dialect coaching and it has really paid off. His last Ray Comfort in particular was fucken choice mate. I didn't watch the movie and was picturing a housecat as the treasure, as my language has a specific word for the cat as in the feline family [katachtige] versus that beast that is currently trying to catch her own tail right in front of me [kat]. Would have been kinda funny though.

2024-09-28 13:58:07 +0000 UTCOh man I love this movie SO MUCH. I genuinely think it's Dwayne's best performance, because he's actually forced to play someone slightly not himself. After this, he's basically just playing The Rock in every film he's ever made since. But this one, he's got to act with Sean William Scott as a buddy comedy duo, with Dwayne being the butt of the jokes in the pairing. He's got to act ridiculous and awkward. And honestly, I think the two of them had great chemistry. This movie is just fantastic. It knows what it is, and isn't trying to be anything else, and it does it 100%
